An evergreen shrub that forms a dense, upright mound. Gray-green leaves are soft, quilted, and uniquely fragrant. Upright stalks carry tiered whorls of two-lipped flowers in violet-blue. Heaviest blooms in spring and fall. Attracts all sorts of pollinators and beneficial insects. Native to California.
